The Optical Systems Unit focuses on developing and improving novel techniques to obtain the wavefront shape of optical systems by using the principles of Geometrical Optics. We work with a combination of applied and theoretical research, in collaboration with leading researchers around the country. One important activity of our research group is to connect the ICAT research groups with industry, with the aim to transfer the knowledge through technological development and innovation. Another activity of the group is the formation of high-level students that can solve problems in the industry, the public sector or society in general.
