Objectives
- To conduct research, technology development and training of high quality professionals in the fields of knowledge stated in the mission statement to contribute to frontier knowledge generation and to the solution of problems of national interest.
- To promote interdisciplinary, problem solving-oriented work among its academic staff and students.
- To contribute to the promotion of technology development within UNAM, through academic collaborations with related entities.
- To establish liaison with the different sectors of society to contribute to technology innovation in Mexico.
- Provide educational, technical and scientific consultancy.
- Disseminate and spread the knowledge generated by the Institute through the highest quality and impact media.
