Catalysis and Surface Processes

Viridiana Maturano-Rojas

Chemical engineer and chemical science master by UNAM.

In 2009, she began to work at CCADET now ICAT, dedicating herself mainly to the synthesis and characterization of gold nanoparticles for their application in reactions of interest for the abatement of atmospheric pollution.

In 2016 she obtained a master degree with the work “Synthesis and Characterization of the Au-Sn system applied in the CO oxidation reaction”.

In 2017, she joined the ICAT staff as a full time Associate Academic Technician “C” to work at the University Laboratory for Environmental Nanotechnology (LUNA) providing technical support and advice to students and academics to develop their research. Further, she provides services for the analysis of samples through nitrogen physisorption, dynamic light scattering and determination of total organic carbon.
