Roberto Ysacc Sato-Berrú

Dr. Roberto Sato studied Physics at the University of Trujillo in Peru, and obtained his degree in 1996; the M.Sc. degree in Science in 1999, from the same University; and a Ph.D. degree in Optics Science from CIO – University of Guanajuato in Mexico, in 2003.

He has published 41 papers in indexed journals with work in the areas of raman spectroscopy, synthesis of silver nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, graphene and nanostructured materials, surface enhanced raman spectroscopy, principal component analysis. His work has been cited more than 500 times by other authors.

He has directed the thesis work of a doctoral student, one master’s student and 6 undergraduate students; he is currently working with another 3 doctoral students.
