Dra. Selene Rubí Islas Sánchez

En el 2018, obtuvo el grado de Doctora en Ciencias Químicas por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Ingresó como Técnico Académico al Centro de Ciencias Aplicadas y Desarrollo Tecnológico (CCADET), actualmente, Instituto de Ciencias Aplicadas y Tecnología, en el año de 2017.

Forma parte del grupo de Sustratos Nanoestructurados y del Laboratorio Universitario de Caracterización Espectroscópica (LUCE); en este último se encarga de brindar asesoría continua a académicos y estudiantes sobre los principios básicos de las técnicas de caracterización espectroscópica con las que se cuenta en el LUCE, así como el uso adecuado de los equipos y el alcance de las diferentes técnicas espectroscópicas moleculares y vibracionales.

Como resultado de su trabajo tiene el agradecimiento en 50 tesis (17 de licenciatura, 24 de maestría y 9 de doctorado) y 21 agradecimientos en publicaciones arbitradas. Es coautora en 12 artículos en revistas indizadas en JCR/SCOPUS: RSC Advances, Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, Crystals, Crystal Growth & Design, Biosensors y ACS Omega.
Actualmente es Técnico Académico Titular A, PRIDE C y candidata a investigadora en el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores. En el año 2022, se le otorgó el estímulo especial para Técnicos Académicos “Marcos Mazari Menzer”.

  • Estudio de interacciones molécula/substrato.
  • Estudio de la amplificación superficial de las señales de dispersión Raman en sustratos grafénicos (GERS).
  • Desarrollo de plataformas analíticas para la detección con alta sensibilidad y selectividad de moléculas de interés biomédico y medioambiental.
  • Caracterización espectroscópica de materiales nanoestructurados en las áreas de salud y medio ambiente.
